On March 26, our council, together with the CCPIT Trade Development & Cooperation Centre and AmCham China, organised a group of over 30 major healthcare companies to visit Jiangsu for cooperation. During the visit, a government-enterprise round-table for the healthcare sector was held, inviting departments including the Provincial Department of Commerce, Health Commission, Healthcare Security Administration, and Drug Administration. They introduced Jiangsu’s open growth in healthcare and biopharma, and answered the group’s questions and suggestions. Claire Ma, Vice President of AmCham China; Yan Yun, Director of the CCPIT Centre; Wang Shanhua, Chairman of our council; and Chen Liang, Deputy Director of the Healthcare Security Administration, attended and gave speeches. Cong Sufeng, Vice Chairman of our council, led the meeting. Nearly 20 leaders from Jiangsu’s healthcare associations, parks, and related companies were also invited to talk with foreign companies.
