On May 15, our council hosted the Jiangsu-Brazil Business Matchmaking Meeting. Vice Chairman Wang Fei met with Roberto Perosa, President of the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (ABIEC) and provided an overview of the development of Jiangsu's open economy and the economic and trade cooperation between Jiangsu and Brazil. The ABIEC presented on the export of Brazilian beef, while the Jiangsu Catering Industry Association introduced the application of beef in Huaiyang cuisine, a representative of one of China’s great culinary traditions. Representatives from Brazil and ten enterprises from Jiangsu Province exchanged their cooperation needs.
