On November 27, our council and the Provincial Department of Commerce jointly hosted the Jiangsu Enterprises Outbound Investment Conference in Lianyungang. Chairman Wang Shanhua, Deputy Director-General of the Provincial Department of Commerce Chen Xiaodong, and Vice Mayor of Lianyungang Wu Gangyu attended and delivered speeches. Vice Chairman Cong Sufeng of our council presided over the conference. 

This seminar, themed “Promoting Optimized Opening-up Layout and Fostering Innovation Cooperation in the Production and Supply Chain,” featured keynote speeches, presentations on investment environments in different countries and regions, and round-table discussions, providing enterprises with diverse solutions to overcome the challenges of cross-border operations. 

During the event, the “Comprehensive Service Platform for Jiangsu’s Global Expansion” mobile platform was launched, along with promotional sessions for overseas economic and trade cooperation zones and a specialized matchmaking meeting for international biopharmaceutical collaboration in Lianyungang. Over 250 participants attended, including officials from embassies and consulates in Shanghai, heads of investment promotion agencies, representatives from trade associations and chambers of commerce, professionals from cross-border investment service institutions, and representatives from domestic “going global” enterprises across more than 20 countries and regions, including Africa, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, South America, and Europe.
