From May 18th to 25th, Wang Shanhua, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of our council, led a Jiangsu economic and trade legal exchange delegation to visit Singapore and Thailand, conduct research on the 2024 Bangkok Agricultural Machinery Exhibition in Thailand, visit multiple economic, trade, and legal institutions, and hold discussions and exchanges with local chambers of commerce and some Jiangsu overseas investment enterprises to further understand their service needs, broaden channels for foreign commercial legal cooperation in the trade promotion system, and better serve the construction of a high-quality development pilot zone for foreign legal services in Jiangsu.

During the visit, the exchange delegation also met with the Chief Representative of CCPIT in Thailand, relevant officials of the CCPIT Singapore Representative Office, and the Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Trade Representative Office in Singapore to gain a deeper understanding of the trade and investment situation and legal service needs of Jiangsu enterprises in Singapore and Thailand and to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with various overseas representative offices.
