On September 22, our council hosted the China (Jiangsu)-Uzbekistan (Kashkadarya) Business Forum in Qarshi, the capital of Kashkadarya. Xu Kunlin, the Governor of Jiangsu Province, attended and addressed the forum. Yu Jun, the ambassador to Uzbekistan, delivered a video speech. The Governor Azimov of Kashkadarya region and Director Mirzaev of the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan gave their speeches. SUMEC, Soho Holding Group, XCMG Group, etc., introduced the groups and cooperation intentions. More than 300 people attended the forum, including representatives from the business associations and institutions and entrepreneurs from Jiangsu and Kashkadarya. Companies from both sides conduct one-to-one exchanges around petroleum, energy, chemicals, textiles, pesticides, machinery manufacturing, high-end equipment and other industries. An exchange meeting between entrepreneurs from both sides was also organized before the meeting.
