On September 15, the China-Europe Railway Express Cooperation Forum, in which our association participated as a member of the Executive Committee, was held in Lianyungang, Jiangsu. Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, read a congratulatory letter from Chairman Xi Jinping at the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Kazakh First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar took part in the opening ceremony and delivered President Kassym-Jomart Tokay's address. Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee Xin Changxing and other leaders delivered speeches. Vice Chairman of CCPIT Zhang Shenfeng attended the opening ceremony. Governor Xu Kunlin of Jiangsu Province chaired the opening ceremony.

Our council invited nearly 20 representatives from 18 multinational institutions of 13 countries and regions, such as Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, Romania, Georgia, Armenia, South Korea, and Hong Kong, China, to attend the forum. Our council also participated in the organization of the sub-forum “Train Plus Economy & Trade ”.
