From August 24th to 26th, the BOI and our council jointly organized a China-Thailand economic and trade investment event to help enterprises take advantage of the preferential policies of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to enter Thailand to carry out international operations.

In Zhengjiang, the Thai parties introduced the trade and investment environment and advantages, the main functions and all-around services of the Thailand Board of Investment to the World Group, Yuwell Group and Dingsheng New Energy Materials. Both parties discussed issues such as the anti-circumvention self-investigation, visa application, international certification of medical device products and after-sales services.

In Nanjing, the Thai parties met with Mingland Electronics, NEWPWR, and Kinwin Auto and introduced the market prospects and advantages of Thailand's electronic appliances, new energy vehicles and other industries as well as answered the questions on BOI certificate application, Calculation of investment preferential years, business tax and Thai employee recruitment.

This event was supported by CCPIT Nanjing, Zhenjiang and Danyang. Vice Chairman Cong Sufeng of our council met with Donlaporn Ajavavarakula, Director of Shanghai Office of Thailand Board of Investment and talked about China-Thailand economic and trade activities this year, and hope to further strengthen cooperation.
