The Seminar for the Promotion of Public-Private Partnerships in Brazil was held online and offline in Nanjing on June 24. The event was organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province, the Brazilian Consulate-General in Shanghai and our council. The Consul General Marcelo Baumbach of Brazil in Shanghai, Deputy Director Liu Jiandong of the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu and Vice Chairman Cong Sufeng of our council attended the seminar with other officials of China and Brazil.

At the event, the authorities of both the Brazilian federal government and the states of Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, presented investment projects at the federal and state levels. The XCMG Industrial Park in Brazil signed a letter of intent with Minas Gerais, a sister state of Jiangsu to strengthen cooperation in the attraction of projects and construction of the industrial parks.

Cong Sufeng stated in the concluding speech that China -Brazil's good bilateral economic and trade relations are a model for cooperation between BRICS countries. Being an important channel for the promotion of trade and investment promotion, our council is willing to work with Brazil to build a pragmatic cooperation platform, expand cooperation in commercial legal services and economic and trade surveys, and strengthen communication and cooperation under multilateral mechanisms such as BRICS countries and G20 to achieve more results in the economic and trade exchanges between the two parties.

Our council invited over 20 high-quality enterprises that have carried out and intend to carry out economic and trade cooperation to participate in the seminar.
