On the afternoon of April 17th, China-UK International Industrial Cooperation Seminar was held in Nanjing. The seminar was co-hosted by the Provincial Department of Commerce, CCPIT Jiangsu Sub-council, the Provincial Intellectual Property Office and the Administrative Committee of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area. Cong Sufeng, Vice Chairman of our council and Andrew Mackenzie, Outreach Consul East China of the British Consulate in Shanghai attended and addressed the seminar offline and online respectively.
Cong Sufeng said that CCPIT Jiangsu was striving to promote IRP and increase international IP cooperation. Our council has held a series of events to push forward the match-making between the high-quality resources of the UK and the industrial needs of Jiangsu. \
Andrew Mackenzie said that Jiangsu, a major province of scientific and technological innovation in China had a solid industrial foundation, an excellent business environment, and a strong willingness to innovate. He looked forward to continuing to introduce more high-quality British technologies and projects to Jiangsu.
Representatives of both Chinese and British business institutions and companies introduced their strategies for investing in the UK and their innovative projects. More than 160 thousand audiences attended the seminar online and offline.
