On September 29th, our council held a Jiangsu-UAE Economic and Trade Exchange Conference to facilitate the exchanges and cooperation between Jiangsu and the UAE business community. Vice Chairman Cong Sufeng of our council and Chief Representative Daniel Sellers of the China Office of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended and addressed the conference.

Cong Sufeng said that with the best and most active growth in China's biomedical and medical technology industries, Jiangsu has advantages in R&D, industrialization, international exchange and cooperation, etc. Our council will give full play to our role as a bridge between the government and enterprises and between home and abroad, improve the working mechanism of overseas liaison centres, and build new trade and investment platforms to deepen the exchanges and cooperation between Jiangsu and the UAE, as well as the Middle East and Western Asia business communities.

This event was simultaneously in Nanjing and the UAE, introducing the background, facilities, industries, various preferential policies and value-added services of the China-UAE Production Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone and the DMCC Free Zone. The purchasing and supplying parties conducted 25 one-to-one exchanges. Our council will promptly provide necessary assistance and follow-up services.
