On July 29th, CCPIT Nantong, Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Royal Belt DWC and our council jointly hosted the “UAE- Jiangsu Nantong Cross-border Matchmaking Meeting” online. This event aimed to give full play to the role of the UAE Liaison office of Jiangsu Chamber of International Commerce , build a platform for multiparty communication dialogue and promote cooperation between the business communities of Jiangsu and the UAE and provide help for domestic textile enterprises in Jiangsu province, especially in Nantong, to carry out international economy and trade. Vice Chairman Cong Sufeng of our council, Vice Chairman Yang Ping of CCPIT Nantong and Chief Representative Daniel Sellers of  the China Office of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended and addressed the meeting.

This matchmaking meeting was strongly supported by Dubai Multiple Commodities Center (DMCC). Nanjing, Nantong, Shanghai and the United Arab Emirates were connected synchronously. More than 200 people from 30 purchasers from the UAE and 115 enterprises in the home textile industries in Nantong and other cities across the province attended the meeting online.
