On June 29, the “Walking into Taicang” China-Japan-South Korea Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum was held in Taicang, Suzhou, which was attended by many Japanese and South Korean entrepreneurs. Chairman Yin Jianqing and Vice Chairman Cong Sufeng of our council attended the forum.

At the forum, representatives from Taicang, Kanagawa of Japan and Daejeon of Korea introduced the economic and social development in each region and also promoted their featured industries. Experts from the three countries made presentations over a broad range of topics, such as cooperation in environmental industry, a survey of overseas business development of Japanese manufacturing enterprises, and investment opportunities for Japanese enterprises in China.

The event also saw the signing of agreement for 24 projects with a total investment of 10.646 billion yuan, such as a project about aviation parts and precision components.
