2021-03-18

On March 11, 2021, China and Norway held a video conference of FTA chief negotiators. The two sides conducted in-depth negotiations on trade in goods, trade in services, investment, rules of origin, customs procedures and trade facilitation, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, technical barriers to trade, dispute settlement, and the preamble of the agreement. The meeting moved forward based on existing consensus.

The two sides believe that speeding up FTA negotiations is very important for the two countries to jointly fight COVID-19, support free trade and multilateralism, strengthen economic cooperation and trade, restore economic growth and keep global industrial and supply chains stable.
