On November 30, the 13th China(Nanjing) Enterprises Outbound Investment Conference hosted by our council opens in Nanjing. Chairman Yin Jianqing of our council attended and addressed the conference. Vice Chairman Cong Sufeng chaired the conference.
Participants including representatives from institutions by foreign countries in China, experts and scholars, and professionals of industrial parks and enterprises exchanged ideas on industrial cooperation under China’s new development pattern of "dual circulation".
Yin Jianqing, president of CCPIT Jiangsu, said efforts will be made to facilitate contacts with international counterparts, promote Jiangsu’s cooperation and exchange with Japan, South Korea, ASEAN and countries engaged in the Belt and Road initiative.Yin also said the province will guide its top enterprises in some competitive industries to lead an all-in drive of going global. In addition, it’s necessary to focus on international cooperation in green and low-carbon transformation so as to increase the sustainability performance of outbound investment projects.
Xu Ming, the former deputy governor of Jiangsu province, now a researcher at the Yangtze River Institute of Industrial Economics of Nanjing University, said "dual circulation," in which domestic and foreign markets reinforce each other, with the domestic market as the mainstay, provides new opportunities for enterprises to go global. Chinese entrepreneurs should learn to take advantage of both international and domestic markets and gradually build up strengths during competition in the global market, he added.
During the conference, overseas project promotion conferences and overseas park promotion conferences were held simultaneously online and offline.
