On the afternoon of October 18th, the China·Jiangsu- Kazakhstan Business Council Forum was held in Lianyungang city, Jiangsu province. This event was co-hosted by the Department of Bilateral Cooperation of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) , the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Shanghai, Jiangsu Chamber of International Commerce, KAZAKH INVEST and the People’s government of Lianyungang city. The General Secretary of the CCPIT Yu Jianlong, the Chairman of the People's Political Consultative Council of China of Lianyungang Wang Jiapei, the Vice Chairman of our council Cong Sufeng attended and addressed the forum.

China·Jiangsu- Kazakhstan Business Council Forum was an important part of the 7th China (Lianyungang) Silk Road International Logistics Expo and also one of the main annual institutional activities of China-Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs Committee. More than 200 representatives from the political, business and entrepreneurial circles of China and Kazakhstan gathered together to discuss promoting economic, trade and industrial cooperation between the two countries.

In Cong Sufeng’s speech, he said that as the main channel for Jiangsu’s trade and investment promotion,our council has been committed to building a communication and collaboration platform for the business communities to promote China-Kazakhstan economic and trade cooperation. He looked forward to working closely with all parties and taking active actions to jointly promote the high-quality economic and trade development of Jiangsu and Kazakhstan.

For further development of the investment cooperation with manufacturing and processing companies in Jiangsu province, KAZAKH INVEST signed a memorandum of cooperation with our council and Lianyungang City.
