On October 19th , “Lianyungang- Caspian” Integrated Supply Chain Base Cooperation was held in Lianyungang city. The fair which was co-organized by “Samruk-Kazyna” National Welfare Fund and our council, was one of the supporting activities of the 7th China (Lianyungang) Silk Road International Logistics Expo. Vice Chairman Cong Sufeng of our council attended and addressed the fair.

“Lianyungang- Caspian” Integrated Supply Chain Base is strongly supported by Jiangsu province and Lianyungang city. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to form a new regular transport route connecting the port of Lianyungang and the port of Aktau. It will contribute to the growth of trade volumes between China, Central and Western Asia and Europe.

Projects promotions and market analysis reports were presented at the meeting and a cooperation signing ceremony was held. Deputy Governor Gao Meifeng of Lianyungang, Deputy head Lu Ming and Director Liu Yingkui of Department of International Investment of CCPIT Academy, Consul General Rakhimzhan Rakhimov of Kazakhstan in Shanghai and The Head of the Representative Office of “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC in China Iskander Baytasov attended the fair and witnessed the cooperation signing of the Chinese and foreign companies.

After the fair, the representatives inspected the Integrated Supply Chain Base in Lianyungang.
