Jiangsu International Commercial Law Service Center (hereinafter referred to as the Commercial Law Center) was established in 1992, formerly known as the Jiangsu Mediation Center of China Council for the Promotion of Trade/China International Chamber of Commerce. It is a public institution established in Jiangsu Trade Promotion Association and provides legal services such as commercial mediation, arbitration, economic and trade early warning for enterprises. Over the years, through mediation, the Commercial Law Center has solved a large number of commercial disputes for both Chinese and foreign parties, and has made positive contributions to promoting the open economy of our province and building a harmonious order of foreign trade and economic development.
The Commercial Law Center implements a roster system of mediators, who are appointed by the Commercial Law Center for a term of three years. In view of the expiration of the current term of appointment of registered mediators, the Commercial Law Center is now open to the public to select mediators for a term of office from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022. The specific conditions for appointment are detailed in the Regulations on the Administration of the Employment of Mediators (Annex 1). Mediator Application Registration Form (Annex 2) should be filled out by those who meet the requirements of appointment and apply for mediator voluntarily, and submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by October 20, 2019. At the same time, the paper registration form should be submitted to Room 3611, Floor 36, International Economic and Trade Building, No. 50, Zhonghua Road, Nanjing. Mediators of Commercial Law Center in the current register also participate in public recruitment activities. The list of new mediators will be announced to the public by December 30, 2019.
